Motiva Preservé™ Breast Augmentation

A tissue-preserving approach to breast enhancement


​​​​​​​Dr. Jordan Terner offers Motiva Preservé™, an innovative breast augmentation technique designed to minimize disruption to the breast's natural tissues and supporting structures.


Unlike traditional breast augmentation approaches, Preservé uses specialized instruments to create an implant pocket through controlled expansion of the breast tissue. The technique is designed to preserve native tissue and minimize disruption to the chest muscle and surrounding support structures. It is performed using Motiva SmoothSilk® Ergonomix2® silicone gel implants.


For appropriately selected patients, this approach may offer benefits such as smaller incisions and a less disruptive surgical experience. Individual results, recovery, and suitability vary depending on each patient's anatomy and surgical goals.


During your consultation, Dr. Terner will determine whether Motiva Preservé or a traditional breast augmentation technique is the most appropriate option for you.

Am I a suitable candidate for breast augmentation?

To assess your candidacy for a breast augmentation, it will be necessary for you to attend an appointment with Dr. Terner, where you can discuss your goals for the procedure and choose the best type of implant to meet them.

However, most women who pursue breast augmentation do so because they feel:

- that their breasts are too small for their bodies.

- that her upper and lower body aren’t in proportion with one another.

- have breasts that are asymmetrical.

How do I know which is the right implant size for me?

Choosing the right size implant is imperative and Dr. Terner will help you to make an informed decision. You will see examples of previous patients who have had augmentation and try on various implant sizers in a surgical bra so you can experience first-hand what your new shape could be like.

Dr. Terner will also measure your existing chest shape and breast size and use this to determine which implants match the diameter of your breast so that your new cleavage will appear natural.

Are there any risks associated with breast augmentation?

All surgical procedures carry some element of risk. However, breast augmentation carries a very high success rate and many patients find that complications are minimal. If any side effects are experienced they may include changes in the skin sensation around the breast, infection and occasionally, implant leakage or rupture.
